1991 S/S "Opera Balletto Teatro Cinema" Silk Head Scarf

This Gianni Versace Atelier silk head scarf is from the 1991 S/S "Pop Art" collection. It was made in Italy from blue silk twill with the "Opera Balletto Teatro Cinema" design and Versace's iconic Greek Key border print. It measures 54" x 25" and is signed "ATELIER VERSACE".

It was designed as a square scarf sewn into a triangular shape, with gold-tone metal tips that weigh down the corners so they stay behind the shoulders and an opening encircled with gold-tone metal for one of the tips to pass through, makes it easy to secure as a headscarf, though it could also be worn around the neck, shoulders, or on a bag.

It's in very good condition. There is a run at the fold that isn't particularly noticeable during wear.
