1970's Red Silk Pleated Skirt

This very red pleated skirt from Christian Dior is high waisted and falls in an a line just above the ankles, not far off in design from some of the bright pleated skirts in Gucci’s 2016 S/S show. Unlined, this piece pure silk satin. It it closed at the side with a metal zipper and two inner metal waist clasps. A versatile outfit-building piece.
