1940s Floral Brocade Blue Silk High-Waisted Maxi Skirt

We believe this maxi skirt was homemade in the 1940s using antique Chinese silk. It's sewn by hand from unlined blue floral print brocade silk that fastens up the left side with a metal zipper. The waistband is higher in the front. It's in very good condition, with only some minor imperfections to the silk, as to be expected with its age.
