1989-90 F/W Black Velvet Asymmetrical Riding Jacket

This 1989-90 F/W Chantal Thomass asymmetrical riding jacket was made in France of lined black cotton velvet. There were many equestrian-inspired pieces featured on that season's runway, including a black velvet coat with the same cream contrast stitching around the buttonholes. This jacket has pointed lapels, a martingale belt at the back of the waist, two front pockets and one breast pocket. It fastens in the front with four fabric-covered buttons, and has three buttons on each cuff. It's in excellent condition, has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
