This 1972 Jean Varon by John Bates gown is made in England of cream chiffon with a gray Art Deco floral print. The fabric content isn't listed but we believe that it's acetate and nylon. Features include balloon sleeves, a cream crepe bib top and a high ruffle collar. The body is lined. The dress fastens in the back with a metal zipper and there are three fabric-covered buttons on each cuff. It's in very good condition, with just some wear to the fabric on the buttons of the left cuff. It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
