1990s Draped Gold Silk Lamé Bustier Dress

This iconic Thierry Mugler cocktail dress dates to the early 1990s. It was made in France from 72% silk/28% polyester silk lamé. The bustier top with ribs does up the back with a YKK zipper. The draped skirt does up on the left side of the waist with a gold-tone metal buckle, which is signed "Thierry Mugler" inside. The same design was worn by Kim Kardashian to the 2008 Spike TV Awards. It is in excellent condition, with just some patina to the metal buckle and a light lipstick mark on the interior of the bustier. It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
