1960s Mod Paisley Brushed Cotton Mini Dress
This 1960s mod Geoffrey Beene mini dress is made from 100% mercerized cotton in a navy, white and tuscan orange paisley print. Sold at high-end Montreal boutique Lily Simon, it is unfortunately missing its Geoffrey Beene label, but we are certain of its authenticity, having previously seen an identical labeled version (feel free to contact us for further authentication.) It does have an ILGWU label. It features large inverted pleats on the front, back and sides of the dress, a fitted bodice and pleated skirt, and an inner waist stay. Trimmed in navy blue ribbon, the top is lined in blue silk and the bottom is lined in organza, which helps keep its shape. It does up the back with a Scolvill zipper and a hook-and-eye. Made in the U.S.A., it is in excellent condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear
