This antique jacket dates to the late-1890s/early-1900s. It's made from an unlined braided black silk tape lace that fastens at the front of the waist with a frog knot closure. The hemline is varying lengths in the back, reminiscent of tuxedo tails. It's in exceptional condition for its age with only a few very minor snags.
