1975 Black Silk Crepe Long Sleeve Dress

This 1975 Valentino Haute Couture long sleeve dress was made in Italy of black silk crepe lined in black silk chiffon. The hand-written label inside the hemline is dated 1975. Features include shirred shoulders, silk satin drawstring cord belt and silk satin trim around the neckline and hemline. The skirt has two layers (both lined), the interior of which hangs 2" lower and has weights sewn into the hemline. The dress fastens with four buttons at the neck, a button at each cuff, a metal zipper at the back of the skirt, and hidden snaps at the back of the top. It's in excellent condition, clean and ready to wear.
