1980s Black Beaded Cropped Evening Jacket

This Mary McFadden Couture cropped evening jacket was originally sold at Bergdorf Goodman in the late 1980s. It was made from a black beaded organza with sequin floral embellishments and cut-outs, and lined in light beige organza. It does up the front with a YKK zipper, and the shoulder pads are easily removable. It is missing a few beads near the zipper, which is only noticeable under close inspection, and the label appears to have been resewn. Otherwise, it is in very good condition, clean and ready to wear.
