This 1969 Malcolm Starr by Elinor Simmons vest is missing its designer label but it is a well-documented piece, featured in that season's ad campaign and in an editorial. It was made in the British Crown Colony of Hong Kong of a lined cream material with green and pink floral embroidery. It's embellished with pink, green, and clear rhinestones throughout. The original owner added Art Deco-era rhinestone clasps. Overall, it's in very good condition. There are a few small light stains on the front that didn't come out with cleaning. It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
