Josefa
1970s Gingham Cotton Bell Sleeve Maxi Caftan Dress
Sold Out
This 1970s Josefa maxi dress was made in Mexico of an unlined medium-weight cotton. The high-neck top is black pintuck, with a black and white gingham body and bell sleeves. Ruching around the yoke that creates a voluminous shape with an impressive 136" sweep! It pulls over the wearer's head and fastens with four fabric-covered buttons at the neck. It has a Royer label, which was possibly the boutique that it was purchased from, but the seam tape along the hemline is signed "Josefa for Anna x Edmundo Villa". The black has some general fading but it's otherwise in very good condition, clean and ready to wear.
