Gudule
1970s Cardinal Red Wool Collared Oversized Coat
$350.00
This 1970s Gudule Paris coat was made in France of unlined cardinal red wool. Gudule was the trendy Parisian boutique where Thierry Mugler famously worked before launching his own fashion house. Features of this piece include drop shoulders, a 12.5" deep flap pocket on each side, a large inverted pleat at the back, buttoned sleeve straps and a storm shield. The collar has brown canvas on the underside; it buttons shut and can be worn standing. The coat fastens with three buttons in the front. The wool has some minor signs of wear around the edges, but overall, it's in very good condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
