George Edwin Walton
1906 Mother of Pearl Sterling Silver Pedestal Caviar Trinket Dish
Sold Out
This 1906 caviar dish is mother of pearl, with a faux pearl in the center, on a sterling silver pedestal crafted by silversmith George Edwin Walton. The silver hallmarks indicate that it was made in Birmingham England in 1906. It would've originally been used as a caviar dish or salt cellar but may be more practical today as a ring or trinket dish. The shell is 2 5/8" x 2.25", and the diameter of the silver base is 1.25". The total height of the dish is 1 5/8". It's in very good condition with some signs of age. Please carefully review the photos.
