Christian Dior Haute Couture

1988-89 F/W Gold Bullion Embellished Teal Velvet Bolero Jacket

Sold Out

This 1988-89 F/W Christian Dior Haute Couture bolero jacket was designed by Marc Bohan as part of one of his final haute couture collections for the venerated fashion house, and featured on that season's runway.

It was made in France of teal silk velvet that's heavily embellished with sequins, glass beads, metallic gold leather, gold-tone metal bullion and silk threads. It features floral embroidery, a teal silk lining, and five ornate gold-tone metal buttons at each cuff. The neckline scoops lows, fastening under the bust with a hook-and-eye and a gold bullion rope tie. It is in excellent condition, clean and ready to wear.

Measurements:

Bust - 33"

Waist - 29"

Bottom circumference - 30"

Shoulders - 15"

Upper arm circumference - 11"

Sleeves - 23"

Length - 16.5"

Please note that while the style could accommodate a slightly larger bust measurement, the shoulder and arm measurements do correspond to a small frame, so pay attention to those numbers.
