1970s Floral Lurex Black Chiffon Dress & Trouser Set

This 1970s matching dress and trouser set is black rayon chiffon with a gold lurex floral print. It comes with the matching 46" x 3" belt.
The sleeveless dress has ruching under the bust and top of the straps, and a skirt that is left open at the front. There is a hook-and-eye at the neckline for modesty, which can be undone to create a deeper-V. It fastens with hook and eyes at the waist. The top is lined and the skirt is unlined. The high-waisted straight leg trousers are lined in acetate. They fastens in the front with a zipper fly and snap at the waistband, which appears to be a later addition. The set is in very good condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
