Frank Oujezdsky

1970's Couture Blue Devore Silk Chiffon Gown

Sold Out

A 1970’s silk chiffon floor length gown designed by Montreal couturier, Frank Oujezdsky, featuring a high neck and balloon sleeves, finishing with wrist cuffs enclosed with 4 buttons. The blue colour is distinctive (a dark sky blue with teal undertones), and the fabric is equally so. Embedded in the silk chiffon, there is velvet containing silver metallic threads, creating striped circle patterns from head to toe. The body is fully lined in matching blue silk, with a back zipper enclosure.

Measurements:

Bust - 34"
Waist - 29" (high waist)
Hips - open
Shoulders - 14"
Arms - 29.5"(balloon sleeves)
Length - 54"

Label: Frank Oujezdsky - Haute Couture

Condition: This dress does have some minor flaws. There is a stain near the front hem of the skirt and a few smaller ones in the surrounding area. Unfortunately, the dry cleaner was not able to remove them. This stain gets completely lost in the fabric of the skirt and would be very hard to notice. You can see it in the last photo. There is also some minor discolouration to the armpits that again, with the texture of the dress, could easily go unnoticed. The dress still presents beautifully. I have greatly reduced the price due to the flaws.

Please feel free to contact me for more photos.

This dress has been professionally dry cleaned and is ready to wear.
