1988 S/S Novelty Print Pink Silk Mini Dress

This 1988 S/S Karl Lagerfeld dress was made in France of light pink silk with a novelty print featuring musical instruments, weapons and teapots. The print was featured multiple times on that season's runway. This dress has a deep V back, scalloped cap sleeves, a scalloped black lace hemline, and a silk lining. It zips up the back, and comes with the original 2.75" wide waist belt. The skirt has an overlay that falls 5" below the hemline.
The belt shows quite a bit of wear: the fabric is yellowing in some areas and the silk on the buckle has worn down. The dress itself is in excellent condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
