1989 S/S Canary Yellow Wool Tweed Skirt Suit

This 1989 S/S Chanel Boutique by Karl Lagerfeld skirt suit was featured on that season's runway. It was made in France of canary yellow tweed lined in yellow silk with the "CC" monogram throughout. Both pieces have numerous "CC" gold-tone metal buttons that are all signed "CHANEL" on the back.
The collared jacket has their signature gold metal chain around the inside hemline. It fastens in the front with eight buttons, with three buttons fastening each cuff. There are four buttoned pockets in the front, and three buttons at the back that open into a 7" vent. The high-waisted pencil skirt fastens at the left side with a concealed zipper and hook-and-eyes at the waistband. Three buttons on the front left side can open into a 7.5" slit. The suit is in excellent condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
