1981 S/S Printed Silk Ruffle Blouse & Pleated Skirt Set

This 1981 S/S Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche blouse and skirt set was featured on that season's runway in black and white. It was made in France of an unlined navy and ochre printed silk.

The blouse has ruffle cuffs and a large ruffle sailor collar. There is a long tie that's attached at the back of the neck. It does up the front with six buttons and has an additional button on each cuff. The wrap skirt is knife-pleated, fastening with a button and a snap at the waistband. The set is in excellent condition, has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
