1983 S/S Runway Houndstooth Wool Puff Sleeve Skirt Suit

This 1983 S/S Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche skirt suit is made from a fully-lined cream & black houndstooth wool. The set consists of a short-sleeve collared jacket and high-waisted skirt. The shirt has puff sleeves, two breast pockets and three buttons fastening in the front. The skirt has an inverted pleat in the front, and does up the left side with a concealed metal DMC zipper and a hook at the waistband.

The jacket is missing its belt and there was an alteration made to the waistband of the skirt (see the last photo.) It's otherwise in excellent condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
