Oscar de la Renta

1971 Documented Blue & White Cotton Off-the-Shoulder Dress

Sold Out

This blue and white cotton Oscar de la Renta Boutique dress was featured on the January 1971 cover of Harper's Bazaar. It's one piece, with a polka-dot top and abstract swirling pointillist print skirt. The neckline is elasticized, allowing it to be securely worn off-the-shoulder. It does up with a Lightning zipper and a snap on each cuff. This dress is being sold in as-is condition. It certainly remains very wearable, but has some minor color bleeding on the top and some areas on the skirt where the blue has transferred onto the white. There are also a couple of stains and wear to the cotton on the top. Please see the photos, as we have done our best to photograph the imperfections. We have heavily factored the condition into the price, and feel it to be an important collector's piece.
