This late-1960s/early-1970s Valentino Haute Couture hooded coat was made in France of tan brown cotton canvas and originally purchased at Holt Renfrew. Valentino is known for hiding Vs in his designs, and here they're found at the cut-outs of the pocket flaps. The coat has a brown and cream tweed lining, and four buttons fastening the front.
Overall, it's in very good condition but there are some flaws to note: the original buttons have been replaced with vintage high quality Italian leather buttons, the canvas has lightly faded in some areas, the hood was designed to zip off but the previous owner has sewn down the zipper to stop it from detaching, and there is some minor wear around the hemline. We have adjusted the price to reflect these imperfections. It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
