Cherida by Irving Nadler
1960s Fox Fur Trim Gold Lurex Cocktail Dress Set
Sold Out
This early-1960s cocktail dress and jacket set is from Cherida by Irving Nadler. It's made from a gold lurex with a striped black velvet that gives a devoré effect. The bolero jacket has no closures, and cuffs trimmed with black genuine fox fur. The dress has a silk organza panel at the top, a scoop back and a 7" faux vent at the back of the skirt. It does up the back with a metal Star zipper.
There is a small tear in the organza panel on the right side and along the neckline (please see the last photo.) The price has been significantly reduced due to these flaws. It's otherwise in very good condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
