1992-93 F/W "Winking" Black Lace Evening Skirt

This 1992-93 F/W Chantal Thomass evening skirt was made in France of a black semi-sheer 68% cotton/32% nylon floral lace with two layers of nylon tulle underneath. The dress version and the same skirt (styled backwards) were both featured on that season's runway. The black cotton velvet waistband is in the shape of a sleeping mask with silver sequin eyes on it. One eye has black bugle bead eyelashes and appears to be winking. The skirt fastens at the sides with organdy ribbon ties. It's in excellent condition, clean and ready to wear.
We styled the skirt to sit at the natural waist, but we believe that it was designed to sit lower, as seen on the model in the third photo.
